Why do i read?
I read go on an adventure to a new world. To entertain me and make me feel free and let my imagination run wild. Everything that I read I can picture in my head and so in a way it’s like a movie to me it just goes until the book ends. When it does end my imagination is running wild for what would happen in the next book or what could happen even if there isn't another book. Reading really gets my mind thinking and predicting about what’s going to happen next and how the story is going to end. It’s the anticipation that really keeps me going throughout the book to see how the story ends. Another thing is that i read for the story, it’s all about the story for me really. I like to hear a good story, a story that has adventure and action but at the same time doesn’t forget about the story not just the action and suspense. The story drives me to keep on going even if things aren't looking so good for my favorite character. I have to know what happens and I will not look at the end of the book until I’ve read every page up until that point because then it makes the story pointless and dull. Hopefully the hunger games will be a good book for me.
The Hunger Games is definitly a good book and that is true for me too i will not look at the end of a but until i read to there
ReplyDeleteYou have a little weird format issue on the left side of your blog when I look at it.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the perfect reason to read: "I like to hear a good story." The best authors get this, too. And I like your point about how anticipation is so important reading.
